How Do I Meet People?

Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at this church.

Small Group/Connection Meetings/Life Group
Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, our church has small Bible studies held in members’ homes or other locations. The size of the group is anywhere from six to twelve people. At a time designated by your group leader you can participate in the small group study.

Youth Ministry
Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. The youth ministry of our church is recognized for their meaningful interaction with kids.

The Teens — (The WAY)
Life can get complicated once you cross that nebulous threshold into adulthood. There are complicated decisions. Bigger stakes. Serious relationships. And a whole lot more decisions. The WAY group of our church provides a welcoming atmosphere for children ages 12 to 18.  Check out  The WAY in the classes section for more information.

Women’s Group-Wednesday Night
Women’s groups give the ladies in our church family special times of interaction.  These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church. Several smaller groups meet throughout the week doing kind acts of meal preparation, get well cards, and visiting shut-ins.  This is not a over 60 group.  This is for all women of all ages.  Your opinion and discipleship count.

Special Activities
There are monthly activities scheduled so that all members and visitors have a chance to visit and get to know each other. We encourage the use of this time to build relationships and to lift up one another.

Married Couples
Even though marriage is one of the most important institutions, it is the one which is under the most attack–internally and externally. The church gives married couples the opportunity to join four month marriage classes including topics such as Marriage and Money, Getting Ready for Kids, Shepherding Children, and Marriage and Sex.

Over 60’s
Once you get past sixty, the fun has just begun. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the over-60 group of  provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction. A mentoring ministry gives older believers a chance to meet with and help younger believers grow in Christ.

We love our group and it caters to the over 60 crowd in such a beautiful way. God uses people of all ages to bring glory to his Kingdom. If you fall into this group, get connected and enjoy the blessing of fellow shipping with folks that loves the Lord. Who says the young can have all the fun.  Turn up you Pacemaker’s, and put on your U. S. Keeds, and let’s go have some fun.
